On August 27, 2026, Grupo JRI participated as a sponsor of the SONAMI Mining Summit 2026, an event that brought together government authorities, business leaders, and representatives from Chile’s small-, medium-, and large-scale mining sectors, to address the key challenges and opportunities facing the industry.
Grupo JRI’s participation in this event reflects its commitment to advancing a more innovative, competitive, and sustainable mining industry, as well as to fostering opportunities for dialogue that enable the exchange of experiences, strengthen relationships, and promote solutions for an industry that is strategic to the country’s development.
Grupo JRI was represented by executives and professionals from its parent company, Grupo JRI SpA, and its subsidiaries JRI and CIMS-JRI. The latter two combine engineering capabilities, specialized expertise, research, and applied innovation, to address the challenges facing the mining industry.
The SONAMI Mining Summit 2026 established itself as a high-level gathering for the industry, attracting more than 1,300 attendees and bringing together the President of the Republic, national and international authorities, governors from Chile’s leading mining regions, senior executives from major companies, experts, and representatives from across the small-, medium-, and large-scale mining sectors.
